An Appetite Reducing Food that Benefits Your Health

Day 23: 215.2
HCG Dose 30o units (.3 or the "30" mark)
Day 15-25: 300 units

Ahh its finally Saturday. I am planning on running this afternoon. Using HCG has allowed me to run further than I have previously when using a low carbohydrate approach. I like to think of it as my low carbohydrate lifestyle....The Sarasota Lifestyle Plan. This morning I had two cups of coffee and boiled 6 hard-boiled eggs to eat over the weekend. I ate two for breakfast and was thinking about the study I read about how well eggs reduce your appetite. I will share that study with you below. My lunch consisted of a few pieces of roast beef and cheddar, and I ate a few hard-boiled eggs and some of the bonne bell gouda cheese. For dinner i put some... a pound of bay scallops into a frying pan with olive oil and lightly browned each side fo 4 minutes. Finally I covered them with shredded Parmesan and Romano cheese and set them in the oven on broil for a minute. I love bay scallops and they filled me up for the rest of the night. My son, Steele, even liked eating them and we were able to quickly eat a pound of the bay scallops.

I believe that one of the mainstay food products of the Low carbohydrate approach is the egg. Yes the egg. It has been vilified by the press and the low fat diet supporters as a food that is guaranteed to increase you cholesterol. But the truth is that there have been multitudes of studies that have shown that egg consumption does not increase your cholesterol. And now a study out of St Louis University has shown that not only will eating eggs reduce your appetite, but that it has so many other health benefits by stabilizing blood sugar and controlling rising insulin levels.

The study titled: Short-term effect of eggs on satiety in overweight and obese subjects, was published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition.

This 2005 study from Saint Louis University shows that eating eggs for breakfast can effectively promote more satisfaction from cravings during the day. More to follow.....
